1本目のお題は、言わずと知れた任天堂の名作ゲーム『スーパーマリオブラザーズ』。Nintendo Switch Onlineのファミリーコンピュータ＆スーパーファミコンで遊んでもらいました。 ↓↓↓（ここからライターの伊達さんにバトンタッチします！）↓↓↓ 小学生の頃は、ポケモン、どうぶつの森、ラブandベリーなどをDSでプレイしまくっていました（懐かしい……） そんな私が今回 プレイしてみたのは初代『スーパーマリオ』です。 DS版と同じように楽しかったけど、初代スーパーマリオブラザーズはDS版と違って、過酷すぎた……。 これは、いい面もあればつらい面もありました。 まず、いい面で言うと、とりあえずダッシュして駆け抜けていき、敵を画面左側に追いやってしまえば、「完全安全地帯」を作ることができるところです。 左側に行ってしまった敵は、もう私のことを傷つけるために、帰ってきたりしない！！ やった～！ でも、ということは、自分にとって有益なものもそっち側に行ってしまったら帰ってこないということでもあります。 ダッシュしまくって、はてなボックスを無視してしまうと、戻ることはできず、ミニマリオで１ステージをクリアすることを強いられる。 たとえ、はてなボックスを開けることができても、間違えて大きくなれるキノコを左側に追いやってしまうと、もう彼を手に入れることはできません。 3機しかないから、貴重なキノコなのに……。 あと個人的には、ファイアマリオがダメージを受けると、ミニマリオに即戻りしてしまうところもつらいポイントでした。 中間サイズマリオのフェーズ、どこに行った……😭 DS版マリオは穴に落ちそうになったら、壁をキックすることで（深く落ちすぎなければ）上までまた登ってくることができます。 わたしは、ジャンプの距離感をはかるのが苦手だったので、壁キックにはよくお世話になっていました。 が、初代バージョンでは壁キックができない……。 壁キックヘビーユーザー、衝撃。 壁キックができないということは、穴に落ちようものなら助かるすべなし、死ぬしかないということ。 ……え、過酷すぎない？ 本当に盛らずに1‐1、20回ぐらいやったよ。 どうして途中からプレイさせてくれないの……鬼すぎる……。 上達しても2-3くらいでまた1‐1に逆戻り。 1‐1ばかりやりすぎてムカついて、手を抜いてプレイすると1‐1で3機消費してしまうことも……..。 永遠に同じ場所をプレイし続けることになるので、一旦終わりにしました。 こんなんじゃ永遠に、ピーチ姫はクッパに捕獲されたまま……。 ピーチ姫、本当にごめん。しばらく助けてあげられそうにない 🙏 楽しかったけれど、DS版マリオくらいゆるくて優しい設定のほうがいいなと思いました🥺 遊びやすさ　★★★★★ 過酷さ　★★★★☆ おもしろさ　★★★★☆ ハッとさせられたのは「中間サイズマリオのフェーズ、どこに行った……」というツッコミ。パワーアップするときはミニマリオ→スーパーマリオ→ファイアマリオなのに、やられるときはファイアマリオから一発でミニマリオに。確かにスーパーマリオ、どこ行った！ 最後は1-1ばかり再プレイさせられるのにうんざりしてしまったようですが、ワープゾーンとか教えてあげればよかったかな……。 次回はマリオと並ぶ任天堂の看板タイトル、『ゼルダの伝説』を遊んでもらおうと思います。 【第2回】ゼルダの伝説 【第3回】グラディウス 【第4回】スターフォックス 【第5回】超魔界村 【第7回】アトランチスの謎 【第8回】F-ZERO 【第9回】海腹川背 【第10回】MOTHER

誰もが“一流”と認める大物芸能人たちが、そのメンツを賭けてワインや楽器、牛肉などの目利きに挑戦。全て正解できれば本物の一流、しかし間違えると二流、三流……とどんどん格が下がっていき、最後は「映す価値なし」として画面から抹消されてしまう――。 なぜ『芸能人格付けチェック』はこれほど長く続く人気企画となったのか？ 2020年から番組のチーフプロデューサーを務める北村誠之さんに、番組作りの裏側から「65連勝中のGACKTさんにまつわる話」まで、さまざまな疑問に答えていただきました。 （取材は12月27日に、オンラインで実施） あくまで「一流なら正解できて当たり前」が大切 ――そもそも「芸能人格付けチェック」はどのような経緯で始まったコーナーだったのでしょうか。 自分は当時まだ中学生だったのですが、歴代のプロデューサーに受け継がれている話では、とある“ワイン好きで有名な女優さん”がきっかけだと聞いています。そこから「ホントに（味が）わかってるのか？」「それなら番組でやってみよう」という話になり、レギュラー企画になったそうです。 ――コーナーが始まったのが1999年で、2023年にはついに25年目に突入します。これほど長期にわたって続く人気企画になったのはなぜだと思いますか？ やっぱり「家族で見られて、視聴者も一緒に参加できる」というところが大きいのかなと思います。テレビの根本ですよね。 そして何より、一流芸能人のみなさんが本気でプレッシャーを感じながら挑んでくださるところです。 正解したら本気で喜び、間違えたら本気で悔しがってくれる、その姿に一切のウソはありませんし、ちょっとした人生の縮図になっていたりもする。だから「本気にさせられる問題」というのはすごく大事だと思っています。 ――問題はいつもどのように決めていますか。 年に一度の風物詩なので、毎年ワインから始まって牛肉で終わるということは意識しています。見てくださる人の「今年も始まったね」「やっぱりこれだよね」という感じは大事にしたい。 それから途中のお題については、時代背景に合ったものを毎年入れるようにしています。今回のお正月スペシャルでは、2024年のパリ五輪で「ブレイキン」という新競技（※1対1でダンスの技巧を競う競技）が追加されることを踏まえて、「ダンス」というお題を入れています。 やっぱり「間違えると恥ずかしい」というのが原点です。 例えばお題が「マグロのお寿司」だったら、1つはミシュラン一つ星の有名店、1つはくら寿司、最後はマグロによく似た味がすると言われる「アカマンボウ」にしてみたり。 ――いくらなんでもそれは間違えないのでは……？ そこがすごく大事なところで、「間違えさせよう」とか「引っ掛けてやろう」といった思いで問題を作ってはいけないと思っています。 「一流芸能人なら正解して当たり前」というのが前提にあるからこそ、間違えたときに「やっぱり私らと変わらないじゃん」「こんなのもわかんないの！？」と盛り上がってもらえる。 マグロの問題は今回のお正月スペシャルで出題していますので、本当に一流芸能人の皆さんが正解できるのかぜひ注目してみてください（笑） 別のインタビューで以前「知識は財産だ」と答えられていたのがとても印象に残っていて、探究心というか、勉強熱心さはすごく感じます。 「勉強しよう」と思って学ばれているのかはわからないんですが、常に知識をアップデートされているのがさすがですよね。物事の本質をしっかり捉え、知識として蓄えていく姿勢はまさに一流芸能人だなと思います。 ――番組制作側から見て、GACKTさんの「格付けチェック」にかける意気込みを実感することはありますか。 自分の人生を賭けてくださっているな、というのはすごく感じます。放送では余裕で正解しているように見えますが、収録が近づくとお腹が痛くなったりとか、「ハゲる！ ハゲる！」とかおっしゃったりするんですよ。 解答を選んだ後、GACKTさんには別室の「GACKT部屋」に入っていただくんですが、恐らく今回の放送を見たら、みなさんにもその緊張感がきっと伝わるのではと思います。例年のGACKTさんとは違う姿や例年以上の“ガチさ”が今回見られるのではないでしょうか。 ――視聴者からもよく言われていると思うのですが、GACKTさんのあの戦績は、演出ではなく本当に“ガチ”なんですか……？ もちろんです。 ――お題を事前に知らせたりとかそういうこともない……？ 一切ないです！ やっぱり何が起きても、自分の信念・直感を最後まで信じられるということだと思います。 一流でない人はやっぱり、だんだん自分を信じられなくなってしまうんですよ。「こっちかな、あっちかな……でも、こっちかな？」って。2択だからこそ余計にそういう心理が働くんだろうなとも思います。 ただ、そういう「自分を信じられなくなってしまうところ」も、テレビとしては非常に面白いんですよね（笑） もちちんここで言う「一流」というのはあくまで“番組内の定義”であって、出演してくださる芸能人の皆さんは本当に一流の人ばかりだと思っています。でも、その中で最後まで「一流」として残られる方はやっぱり、自分が感じたものを最後まで信じられる人たちだと思います。
