Why it was so good: You know a show is great when it makes you actually want to do the same thing that the characters are involved in. While I never took a surf lesson (RIP), Stoked encapsulates all of those feelings about being young, growing up, not giving a shit and just enjoying the sun and waves. Also it introduced me to the Canadian pastry that is beaver tails (called beaver butts in the series)....

My one recommendation is, however, that you buy salted butter. The flaky salt on top will definitely add a pop of flavor, but it’s also important that your butter is nicely seasoned throughout.

Saalt also has a soft and regular version. The soft one was “designed especially for those with a history of bladder sensitivity, cramping or discomfort with firmer cups,” according to their site. Since I often get bad period cramps, I went with the soft option. And the regular one is made from a slightly firmer silicone, which “allows it to open easily when inserted.” “Leakage can occur, but according to limited research, leakage is less likely with a menstrual cup in comparison to a tampon....
